ESSEX CLASSIC CAR AUCTIONS - Just three days to go...

Just three days to go...

Our next auction takes place on Sunday and with just three days to go, there has been a flurry of activity as consignments are confirmed and new enquiries made from both potential buyers and sellers. With that in mind, we thought you might like an update on some of the vehicles that have been recently entered.
With only a registered 85,000 miles on the clock, this beautiful example of Mercedes very popular 300SL has been recently had its bright red bodywork refreshed and is now in very good condition, as is the pale brown leather, chrome and wood trimmed interior. With an estimated value of £18,000-£21,000, this is a lovely car to simply own and enjoy - and it is being offered with a very sensible reserve.
Below this are two iconic cars that helped define the era(s) in which they appeared: Estimated at between £25,000-£30,000, this 1964 Jaguar Mk2comes with what is described as a "stunning" pictorial history of the 9-years of restoration work that culminated in a win at the Cape Drivers Jaguar Club - Concours D'Elegance 2013.
Alongside that, this lovely little 1977 MGB Convertible Roadster has been in a collection for the last few years and with a little TLC and recommissioning is bound to make its new owner very proud. We feel the reserve on this vehicle is very reasonable and it should sell for up to £4,000.
Recognisable the World over, this beautiful 1986 Rolls Royce Silver Spur has had an easy life as a wedding car, where it never failed to impress all those that rode in her - and with acres of cream leather to recline in, who would disagree? With an estimated value of between £8,000-£10,000, this Rolls is stunning value for money and can be an "instant business" as well as an investment.
With an estimated value of just £3,000-£5,000, this delightful 1968 Wolseley Hornet has just 72,000 miles on the clock and just two owners from new. The bodywork has been resprayed at some point and would benefit from a good cut and polish, while the interior has been left as original, to retain the patina of age.
Restored 10 years ago, this 1973 "Tin Top" VW Camper benefits from long-term ownership by an enthusiast owner and is described as being in very good condition and comes complete with a VW awning (which can be viewed in the pictures on the ECCA website). With an estimated value up to £18,000 this lovely "Motor Caravan" has a current MoT and is road, camping and music festival ready!
.

Its not too late...

...to enter a vehicle into the auction, as we can accept consignments right up to the moment the auction starts. If you would like more information, give us a call on 01702 416153 and we will take care of everything for you - and don't forget, we have one of the lowest commission buyers rates at just 5% each, with a minimum of £100 + vat.
The auction starts at 2:00 pm on Sunday and with viewing from 3:00pm until 6:00pm on Saturday and then from 10:00 am on the morning of the sale, there is always plenty of time to have a good look round and maybe enjoy a relaxing cup of coffee - or even a beer or glass of wine in the bar before the hammer is lifted.

We hope to see you there.
