Silverstone Auctions showcases motoring icons in its July Sale

Returning to its spiritual home of The Wing at Silverstone circuit on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th July with another exceptional mix of modern supercars of all eras, Silverstone Auctions looks forward to its July Sale at Silverstone Classic.

Featured lot list

1962 Mercedes-Benz 190SL - estimate: £115,00 - £130,000

The undeniably effortless beauty of the 190SL is shared with the iconic 300SL Roadster. This particular 1.9-litre example is rare – one of only 53 British cars sold in right-hand drive, with very low-mileage (14,354 miles) and full matching numbers.

Complete with the original build sheet and unique ownership documentation this particular car is testament to its delicate and fastidious owners.

1972 Ferrari Dino 246 GT - estimate: £240,000 - £280,000

Delivered new to Luigi Chinetti (Le Mans winner, founder of NART [North American Racing Team] and Ferrari dealer) in New York, the 246 GT for sale is a superb example worthy of its estimate. Complete with original bill of sale, owner's handbook, tool kit, jack and bag - this particular example is a piece of well preserved Ferrari history.

1989 Porsche 911 930 Turbo LE - estimate: £120,000 - £140,000

The Turbo LE was created to commemorate the Porsche Turbo (930) production. Only one of 50 cars built, available in right-hand drive and 30,500 miles, this particular LE is a typical time warp car.

Supplied with a Porsche certificate of authenticity, full health check and serviced immediately before the auction, this example has been meticulously maintained by its owners.

1990 Lancia Delta HF Integrale 16v - estimate: £16,000 - £20,000

Resplendent in Nero Metallic paintwork with complementing Grey Harlem interior, this superb left-hand-drive Integrale has only covered 45,600 miles (74,500kms) after being cherished by a European collector.
This particular car has all relevant documentation and has been fully prepared before sale with a full service and cambelt replacement.

1996 Ferrari F355 Berlinetta

This six-speed manual, left-hand-drive 1996 Berlinetta has only covered 24,480 miles since new (39,400 kms) and has been meticulously maintained throughout its life. One of the best supercars of the Nineties, the F355 is regarded to be one of the most enjoyable and useable Ferraris of its time.
