First Melbourne auction for 2015 offers classic opportunities
with 21 'No Reserve' lots
Australian,
British, European and American classics present an exciting selection
for the first Melbourne Auction of the year with an unprecedented 21 'No
Reserve' lots.
An
Iconic 1969 Ford Falcon XW GT and 1972 Holden HQ SS 253 V8 are just two
of the highlight vehicles that are sure to draw plenty of attention,
both with 'No Reserve'. Other aussie classics include a 1955 Holden FJ
Special, a 1962 EK Holden, a rare 1962 EK Ute and a restored 1972 HQ
Premier and a 1968 Holden HK GTS Monaro 327 Coupe.
British
classic vehicles also with 'No Reserve' are two Rolls-Royce saloons - a
1961 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II, a 1979 Silver Shadow II and a 1955
Jaguar XK140 Fixed Head Coupe.
'No Reserve' German lots include a stylish 1991 Mercedes-Benz 300CE-24
valve Coupe, a 1974 Mercedes 350SL 'Modified' Roadster and a 1986
Porsche 928S Coupe.
Other
special vehicles that are sure to attract interest are a 1960
Volkswagen Kombi '23 window' Samba Bus (RHD), a very collectable 1967
Mercedes-Benz 250SL Convertible and a 1964 Imperial Crown Coupe together
with three Veteran & vintage cars including a 1922 Dodge Tourer, a
1922 Nash 4 Utility and a 1927 Bean 18/50 6 Cylinder Tourer.
American
vehicles on offer include a 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible (RHD),
1977 Chevrolet Camaro 454ci Coupe (LHD), and a 1964 Ford Galaxie 390
Coupe (LHD).
All
up 68 lots are on offer including 37 cars, 2 motorcycles, 29
memorabilia lots including a selection of Victorian numerical number
plates highlighted by '392', '489', '655' and '737'. Plus a wide array
