The Artcurial Motorcars team are busy preparing for the major event of 2015:
The official sale at the Rétromobile Salon
We can already announce details of two important automobiles consigned for the sale:
- The 1966 Ferrari 275 GTB/2 ‘long nose / torque tube’ bought new by Roger Vadim, and later offered to Jane Fonda! This car has never left French soil! Estimate: € 2,750,000 / 3,250,000.
- The 1928 Bugatti Type 43 Grand Sport, ex-Sir Malcolm Campbell Essex Six Hours and R.A.C. Tourist Trophy, an authentic and prestigious Bugatti with wonderful provenance!
Estimate: € 2,000,000 / 3,000,000.
We will present, over two sales, some 160 motor cars, including a completely original Renault Type DP Coupé Chauffeur 5L by Renaudin and Besson that has been in the same family since 1913, a 1926 Bugatti Type 40 GS, a 1937 Delage D8-100 Cabriolet "Torpédo" by Labourdette, a 1936 Horch 853 and other monuments to the history of the automobile.
