RM Sotheby’s is delighted to present 84 unique blue-chip collector cars, 13 lots of automobilia, and one motorcycle at its 13th annual London sale. Set to take place on 24 October at a new location—the renowned Olympia event space in West Kensington—the single-evening auction promises an eclectic lineup of cars for all tastes, including racing and rally greats, stunning high-performance sports and supercars, and modern classics, including a second wave from the much-buzzed-about Youngtimer Collection.
RM Sotheby’s 2019 London sale is also coupled with Sotheby’s presentation of The Ultimate Whisky Collection, the most valuable collection of whisky ever to be offered at auction and the company’s first single-owner offering of spirits, estimated to bring in the region of £4,000,000.

Estimate: £725,000 - £800,000
Finished in the legendary Martini livery, this is one of, if not the, first Delta S4 examples to be built for Lancia’s participation in Group B rallying, and one of the first to be used in a World Rally Championship event, driven by legendary Finnish rally driver Henri Toivenen to 1st place at the 1985 RAC Rally.

Estimate: £1,050,000 - £1,250,000
This XJR-11 is one of three examples built during the 1989 and 1990 seasons and participated in an incredible 13 races between 1989 and 1990, of which accomplished driver Andy Wallace drove in 12 and achieved three podium finishes during the 1990 season.
Offered from the Autobau Collection
This trio of racing greats offered from the collection of a gentleman racer includes a 2006 Maserati MC12 GT1, purchased new and actively campaigned in GT1 events by its current owner (Est. £1,800,000 - £2,300,000), a Classiche-certified 1994 Ferrari 412 T1, driven by Jean Alesi to 3rd place in the 1994 Brazilian GP, and by Gerhard Berger to 2nd place in the 1994 Italian GP (Est. £1,400,000 - £1,800,000), and a 1990 Porsche 962 C, a two-time 24 Hours of Le Mans participant, finishing 13th overall in 1990 and remaining highly eligible for Historic Group C racing events (Est. £1,000,000 - £1,500,000).
The Youngtimer Collection
RM Sotheby’s is bringing a second wave of The Youngtimer Collection to London, with an enviable group of 18 additional modern classics.

Delivered new to Japan, the SL 73 AMG is one of fewer than 50 examples built, equipped with the 7.3-litre, 525 bhp V-12 engine made famous by the Pagani Zonda, and shows less than 35,000 km.

Estimate: £180,000 - £230,000
Seldom seen at auction outside the U.S., the LM002 is one of just 328 examples and shows less than 100 km on the odometer.
The Forests Collection
The Forests Collection comprises nine modern classics, the proceeds from which will benefit Trillion Trees, a partnership of three of the world’s leading environmental charities. Highlights include:

One of three GT3-specification 911s offered from the Forests Collection and set for RM Sotheby’s London auction, the GT3 RS was built to N-GT specification and presents as the perfect track-day tool.

This well-optioned GT3 is presented from single ownership in paint-to-sample Sepia Brown and shows under 1,500 km.
The Collection of David L. Mason O.B.E.
The Collection of David L. Mason O.B.E. comprises four “red-hot” Ferraris, as well as four lots of automobile parts.

The 488 Challenge competed in seven races in 2019, achieving Fastest Lap in Class for every race, and presents today in immaculate condition, prepared by FF Corse.

The 458 GT3 was formerly campaigned by AF Corse and Mtech Racing with British GT wins and comes to auction as the winner of the 2016 Britcar GT Class 1 Championship, as well as the 2017 and 2018 Britcar Sprint Class 1 Championships.
European Sports Cars at their Finest

Offered from single-family ownership since 1974, this Miura is presented in supremely original condition throughout, sporting its original paintwork and interior and retaining its original engine.

Estimate: £550,000 - £650,000
This original, RHD, London-delivery DB6 Volante is one of just 140 examples produced and is offered at auction following a no-expense-spared restoration by Aston Martin Works in 2012.
Modern Marvels

The European-delivery Enzo is one of approximately 400 models built, has covered fewer than 15,000 km, and comes to auction having been recently freshened.

This immaculate Vanquish Zagato example is the 19th of 99 examples built and reads a mere 22 miles on the odometer.
