RM Auctions is delighted to present final featured entries as well as the digital preview catalogue for its upcoming annual Auburn Fall collector car weekend at the Auburn Auction Park in Indiana. Set for 30 August to 2 September, the Labor Day weekend event is a 48-year long tradition that welcomes tens of thousands of enthusiasts to the Classic Car Capital of America annually during the renowned Auburn Cord Duesenberg Festival. This year’s auction is set to present another 750 quality collector cars and a wide selection of memorabilia across four days of auction action, in addition to an onsite car corral, swap meet, and automotive activities for the entire family to enjoy.
Latest star cars set for the Auburn Fall auction block are led by a 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster, chassis no. 198.042.7500184. A desirable first-year example, the 300 SL has spent time in the care of just two owners since new and has been with the current owner since the mid-1980s. Accompanied by a copy of the factory build sheet, this beautiful Roadster is presented in elegant cream over tan and is ready for its next enthusiastic caretaker (Est. $850,000 - $900,000).
Additional European highlights include a recently added 1972 Ferrari 365 GTC/4 by Pininfarina, offered from long-term enthusiast ownership. Chassis no. 14969 has been well-maintained and stored by its current owner and is presented with its original tool roll and owner’s manual (Est. $225,000 - $250,000). For those with a penchant for something more modern, RM Auctions has also added a2005 Ferrari 575 Superamerica to the Auburn Fall lineup. Offered just two owners from new, the 575 is finished in the rare colour combination of Nero over Nero and is equipped with the desirable GTC package and Scuderia shields. Offered with books, tools, and original window sticker, the 575 Superamerica is fresh from a comprehensive service and ready for the road (Est. $275,000 - $300,000). Adding to the modern collectibles on offer are a 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG presented in Obsidian Black over a Black and Red leather interior with painted brake calipers and AMG forged wheels (Est. $140,000 - $160,000), as well as a 2002 BMW Z8, equipped with a six-speed manual transmission and showing less than 12,700 miles (Est. $175,000 - $225,000).

Automotive activities for the entire family include freestyle motocross (FMX) shows sponsored by Monster Energy Drink, helicopter rides for a bird’s-eye view of the 235-acre Auburn Auction Park, a Saturday morning Cars & Coffee fueled by Hagerty, a Kids Fun Zone, charity 50/50 draw, and more. Visitors can also look forward to an autograph signing by Cristy Lee—car enthusiast, biker, and star of Velocity’s hit show All Girls Garage, as well as an appearance by Addison Agen, local talent and runner-up on Season 13 of NBC’s The Voice.
