BONHAMS ANNOUNCES INAUGURAL ITALIAN AUCTION
Bonhams Motoring Department is delighted to announce the inaugural Italian auction of collectors’ motorcars at Auto e Moto d’Epoca, Italy’s most widely attended classic car show, on 28 October 2017.
Since its debut in 1983, the show, held in Padua, near Venice, has become known as the quintessential Italian event for motoring fanatics. It has grown in popularity year on year, with a record 90,000 visitors attending in 2016 and a remarkable 4,500 vehicles on display.
Rupert Banner, Bonhams Group Head of Motoring said, “The Bonhams motoring team is very active on continental Europe, whether it be regular sales such as Paris, Spa, Zoute, Chantilly, Monaco, or special one-off sales such as the Frederiksen Collection in Denmark. The time is right to expand our calendar by presenting a sale in Italy at the prestigious Auto e Moto d’Epoca.”
