	SHANNONS   The last Melbourne auction for the year on Monday December 8 brings together a fantastic assortment of vintage and classic cars along with some heavy weight muscle cars set to entice enthusiasts to dig deep for something special this Christmas.   Vintage & pre-war cars to go under the hammer include a 1925 Studebaker Standard Six Tourer, a 1927 Lancia Lambda ‘Short Chassis’ 2dr Tourer, a 1930 Willy’s 98B Sedan, a 1939 Oldsmobile ‘60 Series’ Sedan and a 1942 Chevrolet 2 Door Convertible.   Need a little more power? Then one of these should fit the bill a 1970 Ford XW GT-HO Phase 2 Sedan, a 1968 Shelby Mustang GT350 Fastback (RHD), a very impressive and powerful 2002 DRB GT40 Replica Coupe, a 1975 Holden LH Torana SL/R 5000 Sedan and a 1956 Chevrolet Corvette (LHD) .   A couple of other special vehicles that are sure to attract interest are a 1964 Jensen C-V8 Coupe and given recent euphoria around Volkswagen Kombi’s this c1964 Volkswagen (Split window) project will tempt budding restorers.   If you're looking for something a little larger with American influence then there are plenty to choose from including a 1956 Ford Fairlane Victoria 460 V8 ‘Modified Coupe, a 1960 Chevrolet Impala 283 V8 Convertible (LHD), 1971 Ford ZD Fairlane 302 V8 sedan and a 1974 Cadillac Coupe DeVille (LHD).   The Melbourne December 8 Auction also features six motorcycles highlighted by the Brough Superior 1150SV motorcycle with sidecar, other marques include Harley-Davidson, BSA, Triumph and a Norton.   All up 72 lots are on offer including 35 cars, 7 motorcycles, 30 memorabilia lots including a selection of Victorian numerical number plates highlighted by '384', '551', '860' and '949'.
