Star Car Of The Week
1972 Triumph TR6
Guide Price: £14,000 to £18,000
The vendor bought this car in 1984, sold it to a friend, and bought it back in 1989. The car has had a body off restoration, the chassis only needed the rear outriggers replacing, and the body needed two new front wings. The main belly plate was replaced and the front wing strut support bar replaced. The differential support mounts were replaced and strengthened. Everything was overhauled or replaced, and there is a picture file showing the work done. there is a substantial amount of paperwork including most MOTs going back to the first MOT required in 1975. The car is matching numbers, and has done about 4,000 miles since the restoration was completed. The original wheels come with the car. An excellent car at a very sensible reserve.  |
