JAPANESE MUSEUM QUALITY MOTORCYCLE WITH JUST TWO MILES ON THE CLOCK EMERGES AFTER THREE DECADES ON DISPLAY TO SELL WITH H&H CLASSICS

MOTORBIKE MAKES JOURNEY FROM PRIVATE JAPANESE MUSEUM TO IMPERIAL WAR MUSEUM DUXFORD

H&H Classics will be selling a rare 1983  BMW R 100 RS  Limited Edition at their Duxford sale on October 12 at the Imperial War Museum, Cambridgeshire. It is estimated to sell for £11,000 to £13,000.
This pristine bike is number 10 of only 100 made. Completely new  and unregistered it has a delivery mileage of only 2 miles on the clock. It is described by H&H Director George Beale as being “In perfect condition.”
The bike stood for many years in the private Japanese museum  before being consigned by H&H’s Japanese agent for sale at the H&H Classics Duxford auction this October.
George Beale comments: “This model is considered to be one of the most practical long distant machines to this day . With a top speed of 125 mph and it’s ability to maintain a cruising speed of 100 mph for hours on end makes it a true BMW classic . Having completed only 3 kms and in perfect condition this is an ideal collectors item and excellent investment opportunity.”
